Ceramic coating

Introduction of coatings suitable for applications such as non-stick, heat resistance, wear resistance, high hardness, and chemical resistance!

" Ceramic coating" is a coating that uses fine ceramics as raw materials and employs sol-gel composite material technology. It has strong adhesion due to the chemical bonding with silica polymers generated by dehydration and shrinkage polymerization, preventing the progression of corrosion even when exposed to corrosive environments at the interface between the substrate and the coating film. Additionally, because it is tightly bonded to the substrate through chemical bonding, it does not experience delamination or blistering due to penetration like fluoropolymer coatings. 【Features】 ■ Heat resistance: Capable of withstanding high temperatures of 450°C ■ Wear resistance: Hard with a pencil hardness of 9H, resistant to scratching ■ Non-stick properties: Equivalent to fluoropolymer coatings (PTFE, PFA, etc.) ■ Steam resistance: Strong against steam, with excellent adhesion that makes delamination difficult ■ Thermal conductivity: Good thermal conductivity, further enhanced by far-infrared radiation ■ Safety: No harmful gas generation even when temperatures rise excessively *For more details, please refer to the related link page or feel free to contact us.

[Example] Non-stick property on metal surfaces = Prevention of dirt on photomasks

When FluoroSurf FG-5093 is applied to a metal surface, it becomes a non-stick surface, preventing dirt and adhesives from adhering. Samples are currently available for corporate clients only.

When FluoroSurf FG-5093 is applied to metal, it imparts non-stick properties to the surface. Non-stick means that tape, adhesives, and other contaminants are less likely to adhere and are easy to remove. When applied to semiconductor photomasks with a 1:1 scale, it becomes less likely for contaminants from photoresist to adhere. Moreover, this property is durable, allowing it to maintain its performance over a long period. Additionally, the coating film is an extremely thin layer of about 10 nanometers, so it does not cause any issues even if it adheres to the mask openings. 【Reasons to Choose FluoroSurf FG-5093】 ■ The effect of fluorine allows for easy removal of contaminants ■ Transparent thin film has minimal impact on appearance ■ Easy to apply on-site and air dries at room temperature ■ Durability of over one year ■ If the effect diminishes, simple reapplication restores performance Other examples are also included! *If you would like a free sample, please include "Sample Request" in your inquiry.

Ceramic coating

Over three times the wear resistance of hard chrome plating! We will propose materials and processing methods that meet our customers' needs.

The characteristics of ceramics include high hardness, low friction, and non-combustibility, among various applications. Our company proposes materials and processing methods that meet our customers' needs. The coating technology known as "chemical densification," which is one type of "ceramic coating," forms an intermediate layer through a chemical bond created by the mutual diffusion of Cr in the coating and Fe in the substrate, resulting in extremely high adhesion. Additionally, the high hardness ranges from 1500 to 2000 Vickers, and the porosity is close to zero, preventing the ingress of corrosive liquids and gases. 【Properties】 ■ High hardness: 1500 to 2000 Vickers ■ Non-porous: Nearly zero porosity prevents the ingress of corrosive liquids and gases ■ Wear resistance: Over three times the wear resistance of hard chrome plating ■ Electrical insulation: 1 to 10 x 10^Ω/cm *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Ceramic Coating with Excellent Non-Stick and Wear Resistance

There are cases where, after several months of use, there is no degradation in performance, and cleaning tasks have become significantly easier than before.

This is a case study from a food company. They were struggling with the burden of cleaning due to product adhesion on the molds and transport guides used in the manufacturing process. Among several surface treatment options we proposed, they showed interest in a ceramic coating that excels in heat resistance and non-stick properties. After conducting a test evaluation, we achieved good results in terms of non-stick performance. As a result, even after several months of use, there was no degradation in performance, and they were pleased to find that cleaning tasks had become significantly easier than before. [Issues] - Excessive material adhesion can lead to defects where products do not meet the specified weight. - They had previously adopted fluoropolymer coatings, but these wore out quickly, resulting in low cost-effectiveness. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
